Running analysis and assessment serves many purposes:
Firstly we can identify specific weakness in muscle groups just by watching you run.
Secondly visual feedback can help you correct compensatory patterns that you may have developed.
Finally, using specialized software we will give you feedback on your form to help improve your running efficiency, speed and reduce your chance of injury.
Your video run analysis and assessment will allow us to examine your current running form. Running analysis is not just for elites, we are here for you whether your goal is to complete you first 5K or qualify for Boston!
The software that we utilize allows us to analyze your running gait and accurately measure the degrees of motion at your ankle, knee, and hip and pelvis. When compared to standardized ‘perfect’ form we will give you feedback on where you may be over- or under-compensating.
We will also look at your overall positioning and give you tips and cues on how you may be able to improve your running efficiency. The goal? To make you a more efficient, stronger runner, and to help reduce your risk of injury.

Following your running assessment your running specialist will review the findings with you, and will take objective measures to determine your strength and flexibility of specific muscle groups based on your analysis. We will provide you with a specific exercise plan to help make those improvements. This is also your opportunity to ask any further questions. We want to help you keep running stronger, longer and healthier!
